SUBMITTED BY A READER: It just a normal day on November 4, 2016. At 5:43 pm I received a call on my cell phone that I was not able to answer. When I looked at my phone there was a missed call, a number in red. This is where my story begins.
I returned the call and a lady answered. I explained I was returning a missed call from this number. She insisted that she had her phone right beside her and had not made any phone calls. It was a mystery.
Some small talk ensued as we tried to figure out if we knew each other. I learned she just moved to Florida from Indiana and her name was Natalie. Before we ended the call I felt a prompting in my spirit to offer to pray with her.
I explained that I believed in Jesus Christ and my spiritual gift was prayer and intercession. I asked if she had any prayer concerns. There was a brief pause, and Natalie explained that she had just had X-rays on her leg that day. She needed a healing in her broken leg; she had been off work for 10 weeks, and she needed the x-ray report to be good so she could start her rehab.
We prayed together, I called on Jesus’ mighty healing power over Natalie’s leg. When I finished we were both a little tearful and Natalie shared she felt a tingling in her leg while we prayed. I believe that was a touch from Jesus. We talked a little more, I told Natalie that God loved her, that He hears her prayers, and then we said goodbye.
I was so thankful that our GREAT God could cause a phone in Florida to call my phone in Indiana to allow this God appointed prayer! I am glad God has grown an obedience in me by the promoting in my spirit that I could pray with a complete stranger to facilitate what she believes to be touch from Jesus.
I now have a new FB friend in Natalie; she shared the experience with her friends and family giving the glory to God for what He has done. God is our healer and there is nothing that He cannot do for those who love him.
